After the setup briefing, follow the song-length Lee County field evolution. The sequence shows SALT AMS remaining underfoot during marine-vessel movement, boat-to-boat transition, water entry, propulsion, rescue-basket recovery and return to the platform.

Brief the system. Fit it correctly. Then evaluate it.

Begin with Paul Robinson and Lee County Sheriff’s Office operators at the tailgate for a practical introduction to SALT AMS setup, fitment and blade control. This field briefing establishes the baseline that helps experienced divers obtain representative comfort, walking mobility and propulsion results.

Seat the heel fully rearwardPlace the heel as far back in the pocket as possible before securing the system.
Use supportive high-top footwearPatrol boots or structured-sole dive booties help support the foot beyond the narrower footplate.
Secure the straps firmlyLock the heel into the pocket so the system remains stable during walking, entry and propulsion.
Orient the cam lobe correctlyTo lock the selected blade position, point the cam lobe away from the toes and toward the blade tips.
