SALT AMS Over-the-Beach Amphibious Mobility

Watch SALT AMS deploy for swim propulsion, retract for movement ashore, and remain with the operator across the sea-air-land transition.

End the fin penalty across mission transitions

Conventional fins impose a size, weight, stowage and timing penalty before and after the swim. SALT AMS is worn with mission footwear, remains underfoot during movement, and locks at any position along the blade path to match the aquatic environment. Short extension supports maneuverability and torque, mid-extension provides propulsion comparable to a compact fin, and full extension supports a paced combat swim.

  • 3.0 lb per pair; compact for rucks, aircraft, SDVs and dry-deck shelter spaces
  • Universal fit from U.S. size 6–15 across patrol, combat and structured-sole dive footwear
  • Applicable to OTB, helocast, MFF/HALO, surface craft and submarine transitions
  • Arrives ready for use without extensive individual setup
